Before You Ask
Practical answers, plainly given
Private 4x4 jeep with an experienced local driver, English-speaking guide, all entrance fees and national park permits, breakfast at the sunrise viewpoint, and door-to-door transport from your pickup point. Fuel, tolls and parking are on us.
Sunrise is weather-dependent and we'll always be honest about the odds. If clouds roll in, we reposition to a clearer viewpoint on the caldera — and if the trip becomes unsafe, we reschedule you free of charge or refund the tour portion.
Most of our expeditions involve minimal walking — jeeps get you within minutes of the main viewpoints. The crater rim trek and Ijen blue fire hike are optional add-ons that need moderate fitness and sturdy shoes.
Free date changes up to 48 hours before departure. Cancellations made more than 48 hours out receive a full refund of the tour portion; within 48 hours we retain a small fee covering jeep and guide commitments.
Yes — the booking planner lets you choose separate pickup and drop-off points. Surabaya airport, Malang city hotels, and Probolinggo train station are the most common; anywhere in East Java is negotiable.
